Dr. Ellis took the time to prepare me for the procedure (IUD insertion) and answer any questions. She also checked on me as I was exiting the exam room. The nurse assisting was also very helpful and kind.

Dr. Stoehr is the only obgyn doctor I feel that I'm safe and in good hand. She's always so caring, friendly and explaining everything to me. There are lots of good thing I can write about her, but instead I recommend y'all dfw women to go and have a visit with her to get this good feeling by yourself. It's so important to have a good feeling while a women's check up.

I honestly have never had an issue with their office since I’ve started going. But yesterday was different.
So I got a bill of $56 the week before and had planned to pay it on a certain day. When I arrived at my appointment the receptionist brought up my balance and I told her I’d pay this Friday. Well she was acting as if they wouldn’t see me without me paying. Which if that’s their policy that’s 100% okay, but it wasn’t EVER communicated. I feel like had that been communicated - I could’ve rearranged my appointment. & then she wasn’t really direct, she was kind of timid like she didn’t want to be up front with me. I had my 10 m.o. with me and waited in the lobby for a good hour and a half. Well the MA calls me and asks if I have a urine sample(which I was never asked to do) then they start whispering about the situation STILL nothing from the receptionist at this point. So I go up and I’m just like I’ll pay it but it is putting me in a position. I’m a SAHM & would’ve needed to make prior arrangements with my husband if that was the case. She goes on to say, well we may collect up front for the procedure you’re having today. NEVER have they done that in the past! Which that was like $169 or so. I just felt embarrassed and belittled. All bc I didn’t pay my bill I was being treated like I never take care of the bills they send. I didn’t appreciate that at all.
Now my doctor herself, was wonderful. No complaints, but I just wish the staff would communicate with their patients better and things would be more efficient.
