About MALATHI ELLIS, MD, FACOG, OB-GYN

Malathi Ellis has been taking care of women in the Dallas metroplex since 2005. She helped to create Nurture Women’s Health to serve the Frisco and surrounding communities. Their core values that have driven the way they care for patients involve taking a holististic and evidenced based philosophy to provide patient centered care. Dr. Ellis enjoys caring for women at all stages of life, including high risk and routine obstetrics, vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC), minimally invasive/robotic gynecologic surgery, urogynecology, and routine well woman care. She received her B. S. in Biochemistry with a minor in Mathematics from NC State University, her medical degree from East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine, and her residency training in OBGYN at the University of Arizona.

Our Practice

At Nurture Woman’s Health, the doctors provide important obstetric and gynecological services for patients throughout the Irving, Texas area and the Dallas Metroplex, with a location now open in Frisco, Texas. Services offered at the practice include care for abnormal uterine bleeding, midwifery services, access to birth control, care for PCOS or polycystic ovary syndrome, pap smears, prenatal care, STD testing, high-risk pregnancy care, hysterectomies, care for urinary incontinence, infertility treatment, and vaginal rejuvenation.

Meet the staff

Dr. Malathi Ellis has been taking care of women in the Dallas metroplex since 2005. She and Dr. Chesshir founded Boardwalk OBGYN in 2010 after practicing together for 5years. They have evolved the practice into Nurture Women’s Health to speak to the core values that have driven the way they care for patients. Dr. Ellis enjoys caring for women at all stages of life but has a special interest in female urinary problems. She also has an interest in natural childbirth and has incorporated midwifery services into Nurture Women’s Health. Additionally Dr. Ellis is a skilled vaginal, laparoscopic and robotic surgeon as well as skilled in operative vaginal delivery and vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC). She received her B. S. in Biochemistry with a minor in Mathematics from NC State University, her medical degree from East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine, and her residency training in OBGYN at University of Arizona.
