WHAT CAN CAUSE A HIGH RISK PREGNANCY?

Certain conditions that warrant a high-risk pregnancy include:

The age of the woman is a common cause of high-risk pregnancy. If a mother is younger than the age of 17, or older than 35, she is at greater risk to experience complications. The danger of experiencing a miscarriage or facing genetic complications increases significantly after the age of 40.
